Service Description

String Quilts are a fantastic way to use up the long skinny pieces of fabric you might have left over from a quilt or sewing project. This type of piecing can also be described as "scrappy". You don't have to have a plan or pattern to follow, you make it up as you go. String piecing is a technique that involves sewing strips of fabric onto a foundation fabric or paper, creating a visually interesting and textured effect. All supplies, fabric and sewing machines included, but you may bring your own machine and fabric. * Basic sewing machine knowledge is a must (how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin)

Cancellation Policy

In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for rescheduling and cancellation of all adult/high school classes and a 5-day notice for kids' classes. We appreciate your understanding.
