City Sewing Room is a supportive and fun community that expresses our values of welcoming all, inspiring creativity, providing accessibility, modeling resourcefulness, and readily learning from each other.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: Stitch - Teach - Share. Join us and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to creativity, sustainability, and learning.
Our History
Since 2016, City Sewing Room has been a vibrant hub for sewing enthusiasts, fostering creativity and connection. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit since 2020, we teach classes to 75-100 kids and adults monthly, engage more than a dozen volunteers each day, and offer affordable fabrics in our Makers’ Mart.
CSR HOURS
Tuesday-Thursday: 12-8 PM
Friday: 12-6 PM
Saturday: 12-4 PM
Sunday and Monday: CLOSED

Enjoy drop-in studio time, shop for fabric and supplies, and donate anytime we're open.
Community Guidelines
Respect People and Space
Treat everyone with kindness and consideration. Respect different skill levels, learning styles, and backgrounds. Take care of tools, machines, and materials. Clean up your workspace before leaving.
Safety First
Ask for help if needed. Report unsafe behavior or hazards right away.
Positive Participation
Help us maintain a supportive creative environment. Encourage creativity and share knowledge.
Membership and Participation Integrity
Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior may result in suspension or revocation of membership or use of space. Dues must be kept current to maintain active membership.
