City Sewing Room's Winter Sewing Challenge 2026 is here! At City Sewing Room, we believe that sewing isn’t just a hobby. It's community. It’s purposeful. It’s joy. Whether you are stitching a project of whimsy, an act of solidarity, or something deeply personal, your voice matters and we are here to hold space for it.

Show off your creativity, share your story, and connect with fellow makers for a chance to win fun CSR prizes.

How to Enter (February 1-17, 2026):
📸 Snap a photo of your project made with Makers’ Mart supplies, in a CSR class, or during drop-in studio time

📲 Post on Instagram or Facebook, tag @citysewingroom, and use #SewWithCSR
🔓 Be sure your post is set to public so we can see it
✉️ You can also DM us your entry or email info@citysewingroom.org

✅ One entry/photo per person (collections are welcome; one image will be used for voting)

🎨 Free to enter—just bring your creativity

 

Project Guidelines:

• Projects must be made with Makers’ Mart supplies, in a CSR class, or during drop-in studio time

• Projects can be from any time (recent or from years past)

• We welcome projects of all kinds, from whimsical and fun to activist-led and purposeful.

• Previous challenge entries are welcome unless they’ve already won

• Past winning projects are not eligible

 

Prizes:
Winners will receive a CSR ribbon and a CSR prize
