Service Description
SEWJO is a hands-on upcycling workshop series designed to help TEENS! reconnect with their creativity through fashion. The name plays on the idea of “sewing mojo”—that spark of inspiration that gets you excited to create again! Brought to you by multidisciplinary artist and founder of SHOP: CALLCASH, Cash. SEWJO invites participants to reimagine what they already own. From turning your favorite old clothes into wearable patterns to flipping thrift finds into bold, one-of-one pieces—this workshop blends sustainability, self-expression, and storytelling, one stitch at a time! Bring something with you that you wish to flip. Teens must take sewing machine basics before taking this class Class limited to 4 students so everyone gets the help they need *This class is for ages 13 - 18 years of age
Cancellation Policy
Cut off time for sign up is the day before class. You will not be able to sign up after the cut off time. In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for scheduling and cancellation of all adult classes and a 5-day notice for youth classes. We appreciate your understanding.
