Ready to learn how to make a quilt? This class will introduce you to the basics of quilt piecing.
Service Description
In this hands-on class you will learn how to choose and prepare fabric, accurately cut quilt pieces, understand the quarter inch seam allowance, sew pieces together, press your seams, and create simple quilt blocks. We'll also cover basic sewing machine skills and tips for accurate piecing. No quilting experience is necessary! Whether you are brand new to quilting or need a refresher, this class will give you the confidence and skills to get started on your quilting journey. If you are a beginner or want to refresh yourself on the basics, this class is for you! Taught by Barb N. Ages 18+
Cancellation Policy
In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for scheduling and cancellation of all adult classes and a 5-day notice for youth classes. We appreciate your understanding.
