This is a multi session course which includes 2 classes: November 12th AND 19th from 3 PM - 5 PM. Give a cherished, vintage, or thrifted quilt new life as a stunning, wearable statement piece! Designed for adult sewists with prior machine sewing experience, this workshop guides you through the art of transforming a quilt into a simple, beautiful unlined coat. Learn how to strategically place your pattern pieces to make the most of the quilt’s unique design features—including clever use of the existing quilt borders for hems, facings, and trim. Prerequisites: Comfortable operating a sewing machine and basic garment or bag construction experience. What to Bring: A quilt and your preferred coat pattern to the first class.
