Service Description

From totes to zipper pouches, you will learn the basic techniques of assembling and sewing all kinds of bags and purses. Each class will offer the basics of the style and you add the extras according to your skill level. Each class is a different style of bag. Choose what style you want to carry your "stuff" in. A new style bag every week. At your first class you will learn the basic assembly of that style, next class, bump it up with lining, interfacing, hooks and pockets. Week 1 - Tote style bags, advance, a lined bag with pockets, to crossbody Week 2 - Zippered pouches and bags, advance to larger multi zipper pocket Week 3 - Boxy Dopp bags advance to all sizes, learn interfacings Week 4 - Boho carry it all bag, advance to different handles, add ons, and more.

Cancellation Policy

In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for rescheduling and cancellation of all adult/high school classes and a 5-day notice for kids' classes. We appreciate your understanding.
