Art Quilting and Fiber Design have been passions of mine for many years. As a former Graphic Designer and Educator ( retired 2020 ) I combine my love of fabrics and unique improv designs with my love of teaching. My class explores innovative piecing, color and unique designs. ALL levels welcome, ( sewing basics required ).

If you enjoy exploring and playing with fabrics, this class may be for you! I am a member of MoFA (Missouri Fiber Artists) and Art Bits St. Louis.

Machine Embroidery

Carla is an experienced seamstress and has always been interested in Fiber Arts. She began creating machine embroidery projects 20 years ago and is now teaching embroidery classes at CSR.

Carla also provides embroidery machine rental (single and 10 needle machines), as well as customized embroidery for your home and wardrobe.
