STITCH - TEACH - SHARE

City Sewing Room is a nonprofit community sewing center located in South St. Louis. With a mission to Stitch - Teach - Share, our community space is used both by drop-in sewists and students participating in our sewing and quilting classes. Our Makers' Mart sells donated fabric, notions, and sewing machines to the public at highly discounted prices.

OUR HOURS

Tuesday-Thursday: 12-8 PM

Friday: 12-6 PM

Saturday: 12-4 PM

Sunday and Monday: CLOSED

Sewing Classes for Adults & Children

We believe that everyone has the potential to create something beautiful. Whether you’re picking up a needle and thread for the first time or looking to refine your techniques, our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.

MAKERS' MART

We take in 1,500 pounds of fabric and sewing notions every week. We then resell most items for $2/pound to the community in our Maker's Mart.

operational costs and programs.
