Service Description

If you've never used a sewing machine......or it's been a few years....or wondering what kind of machine to buy, this is the class for you. You will learn how to use a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, threading and basic skills to help you get started in the world of sewing. Try one of our machines, or bring you own machine to learn on. If you bring your own machine, don't forget the cord, foot pedal and any accessories you have. A second hour can be added to practice your skills by sewing a simple project. This second hour is an additional cost of $20, payable at the time of class. *Class sizes are limited to three participants so that every one can get the attention they need. *For ages 16 years and older. If you're looking to learn to use a serger, we offer specific serger machine classes. Check out our other class listings.

In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for scheduling and cancellation of all adult/high school classes and a 5-day notice for kid's classes. We appreciate your understanding.
