Service Description

Learn how to read - and understand! a sewing pattern. We demystify sewing patterns by explaining all the symbols and terms. Learn how to take measurements, select a pattern, and choose fabric. You will then learn how to cut out the pattern and assemble your garment. We work at your pace so feel free to sign up for as many classes as you need! We will have a selection of easy to sew patterns and fabric to choose from. (Included in the price of the class) Please plan on 2-3 classes to make a skirt, pants or simple top. *Class sizes are limited to 4 participants so that every one can get the attention they need. **Class is for adults 16 years and older.

Cancellation Policy

In order to give our instructors time to prepare for each class, City Sewing Room requires a 3-day notice for scheduling and cancellation of all adult/high school classes and a 5-day notice for kid's classes. We appreciate your understanding.
