Service Description

In this 6-week course, students will progress from taking measurements to creating and fitting a pattern, to making their own tailored dress form! Due to the advanced nature of this class, participants must know how to read a pattern and sew. In the course, participants will: - Learn to take accurate measurements - Use personal measurements to acquire a customized Bootstrap Dress Form pattern - Learn to sew, fit, and form a custom dress form - Learn to affix custom dress form to display stand at the appropriate level Included in the price: - 6 week instruction, support, and guidance for tailoring - Fashion fabric, muslin for mock ups, and notions - Use of CSR equipment (sewing machines, sergers, ironing station, etc) NOT included in the price: - Dress form pattern (students will work with instructors to purchase a customized pattern from Bootstrap Fashion during the first week) - Fashion fabric (if you prefer to bring your own material) *All additional supplies will be discussed during the first session This class only happens if minimum of 3 people sign up for the course.
